 | Jensen Belts 5 Hits Sunday, August 27th, 2028: Minnesota left fielder Steve Jensen could do no wrong in today's 18-3 win over the Blue Jays as he collected 5 hits. "In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor... he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Blue Jays said to the press corps after the game. Jensen agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." S. Jensen hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, walked in the 7th and singled in the 9th. In the current season, Jensen has put up a .259 batting average with 127 hits, 40 home runs, 130 RBI and scored 98 runs. |
